LIFT Generations was born from a personal experience with loss, missed opportunity, and a community-wide gap in financial education. We exist to make sure no one else has to learn these lessons the hard way — by giving Black families the knowledge, tools, and community they need to build real, lasting wealth and pass the knowledge down to every generation that follows.

Our Story: Where It All Began

LIFT Generations was born from personal experience — an inheritance received without the knowledge to protect it, and a community-wide gap that costs families too much for too long. That experience became our mission. Learn more about the story behind LIFT Generations and why we exist.

The Beginning of LIFT Generations

When I was 19 years old, my father passed away and left me properties, stocks, and cash — but not the knowledge of what to do with it. I sold the stocks, nearly lost the properties, and spent years learning the hard way what I should have been taught. That experience became the foundation of LIFT Generations.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

What started as one person’s hard lesson has grown into a community-wide movement. Through courses, conversations, expert interviews, and shared stories, LIFT Generations is building a future where every Black family has the knowledge to protect, grow, and pass down what they’ve earned.
